The team of UNEC students qualified for the final of the TEKNOFEST competition.

In the international competition organized by Seljuk Bayraktar, the UNEC team showed the highest result for universities in the “Agricultural Technologies” category (84.50 points) and rose to the first place among the teams that reached the finals.
“Azerbaijan AgroDrone” team, consisting of students from the UNEC faculty of Digital Economics, presented the idea of a drone in the category of agricultural technologies. Irrigation and medication of the sown areas will be carried out with drones, thus increasing productivity in agriculture will be possible at low expenses.
The captain of the team and the head of the project is Mahammad Rahimov. Ali Bashirov is represented as a chief programmer, Samir Safarli as a chief engineer, Samir Mammadov, Ibrahim Mammadov, Emin Velizadeh as programmers, Arif Salmanzadeh and Rashad Garibzadeh as engineers.
The main purpose of TEXNOFEST, one of the largest technological competitions in the world, is to develop aviation, space and technological skills among young people, to support new ideas and initiatives.
